Start with the flower shape, not just its name
Chrysanthemums can look very different from one another. Some show an open centre surrounded by petals; others form a dense rounded head. Spray types carry several flowers on a branch. A photograph of the exact composition is therefore more useful than a general request for chrysanthemums.

Care for the branches as well as the blooms
